Android Joy is a musical collective created by bassist and producer Eric Holden (Shakira, Arc Angels). Eric settled in Austin from L.A. after a decade of constant touring. During the pandemic, he collaborated with some of his ridiculously talented musical friends. Alex Marrero is an Austin based singer/multi-instrumentalist known for his work with critically acclaimed projects such as Brownout and Golden Dawn Arkestra. The frontmanship he displayed on the revered Brownout Presents: Brown Sabbath earned him high praise from Ozzy Osbourne himself. Alex, along with Carrie Rodriguez, is a founding member of the beautiful Laboratorio concert series which boasts a residency at Austin’s Paramount Theater.
