Baba Sissoko is a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist from Bamako, Mali. Known for his work with instruments such as the tamani, ngoni, bala, and calabass his unique approach melds blues, jazz and rock elements with the sounds of his native land. His voice evokes the deepest and wildest side of west Africa. With the help of the soulful voices of his mother and young daughter he recorded “Three Gees”. Together they represent the voices of the past, present and future of Mali as their roots bloom into a new sound of hope and happiness.
