Sterling "Bud" Sloan (1905-1996) began playing music at the age of 8 in his hometown of Seattle, Washington. After his teenage years, Bud moved to New York City compose and perform music and play with the New York Symphony. In his 30's, Bud moved to Hollywood where he met his wife and continued creating and recording a myriad of songs spanning genres such as Country, Pop, and Jazz. Bud was a prolific songwriter, and many of the songs he wrote for other musicians to perform. Through all of the years, Bud's music has always been earnest at heart and delightfully playful.
