RnBDanny Freeman and The Soul Superiors were a New York City soul and funk group whose recordings were produced by William Shephard for his WSJ Sound label. Blending gritty soul, infectious grooves, and horn-driven arrangements, the band captured the vibrant East Coast soul sound of the era. Their recordings now reside in the Fervor Records archives.
