Dead Red

Rock

Dead Red is a Brooklyn-based project known for its lean and lively brand of hooky, groove-based post-punk. Nervy guitar work and space-age organ courses white-knuckled through a kinetic landscape underpinned by driving bass and insistent drumming, while vocalist Rachel Fannan injects her left-of-center perspective with a no-nonsense urgency and attitude. Dead Red’s gritty and raw music doesn’t just invite you to dance to it, it demands it.
