NORVMBEGA is the musical collaboration of Jono Hill (Brooklyn) and Jon Hansen (Zürich) that strives toward making timeless, yearning, and novel music inspired by a mythical land beyond the mountains, a grandfather's sunken sailboat, and larger-than-life family stories. After years of classical training, extensive performing, friendship, and conversations, they decided to meet for a snowy week in Paris to create music that combined classical, jazz, hip hop, dance, and art music. Often described as indie classical, the project’s north star is combining old and new in unexpected ways.
