Otis Lee Clay was an American R&B and soul singer, who started in gospel music. In 2013, Clay was inducted to the Blues Hall of Fame for his extensive work in Rhythm and Blues. With stints on Elka, Rounder and Atlantic, Clay was a career soulman whose career brought him from the deep South to the Rust Belt and back again. Clay's songs are American cultural treasures.
