Some of today’s bands play '60s garage rock. Only a handful play Merseybeat, and even fewer are so-called "Shadows bands". Perry and the Deerstalkers operate in the specific timeframe of April 1962 to circa December 1963, when 6-string bass instrumentals had their heyday. Stammeringly authentic tones from a Norwegian band thoroughly obsessed with the '60s.
