Rowell is the imaginative music of Michael Legan. The always beautiful and often delicate compositions by Legan combine orchestral and electronic instruments and textures through sparse landscapes that ebb and flow and change throughout each song. The Rowell recording studio is tucked away in one of St. Paul, Minnesota's oldest neighborhoods and what springs forth from that studio is subtle, intricate, and resplendent.
