The legendary group of brothers started playing together at talent shows in 1965 in Gary, Indiana. Tito, Jermaine, Jackie, Michael, and Marlon electrified crowds in the area and signed by Gordon Keith to Steeltown Records in 1967. They recorded their first single, "Big Boy" in November 67, Michael's vocals already powerful and distinctive. The Jackson Five signed to Motown by mid-68 and quickly became a phenomenon. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.
