Angular Wave Research is the studio production moniker of musician Erik Luebs. As a solo artist, Luebs explores the fringes of techno and electronic music. With Angular Wave Research, he applies the skills developed through his artistic pursuits to compose tracks across a wide range of styles, from hip hop, to dark electronic tension, to bossanova, and more. Based in Tokyo, when not writing music for clients, Luebs is involved in the local techno scene, where he organizes events, performs live, and makes tracks for his favorite DJs to play out.
