Thursday, January 14 was a celebration of collaboration – bringing together sound, vision and community into a beautiful performance. Watch what happened during our first Audio/Visual Experiential Collaboration project (A/VEC) performance.
Filmmakers Truen Pence, Davis Priestley and Norm Sajovie created a short silent film in a limited amount of time. They handed the film to Marmoset artist, East Forest to write a soundtrack in two weeks. We hosted a live scoring to the film in front of an audience at our HQ, followed by a Q&A session with each of the filmmakers and artists involved.
We’d like to thank everyone involved in the project. To Truen Pence, Davis Priestley and Norm Sajovie for creating the film. To musician Trevor Oswalt (East Forest) for writing the soundtrack, as well Jessie Dettwiler and Kyleen King for their live performance the night of. Thanks to our friends at Story & Heart for filming the event. We also want to thank everyone who came out in an incredible showing of love and support.

We’re excited to continue this project as an evolving collaboration between music and picture. We’ll be announcing updates on future A/VEC performances coming up this year. Follow us on Twitter and Facebook to get up to date information.
