In what may be one of the best releases of 2013 so far, Devendra Banhart‘s “Mala” is a curation of Banhart’s eccentric personality highlighted uniquely in his minimalistic songwriting. Gone are the sparse orchestrations, and in are the warm vibes that still find the damnest ways to weird you out.
