And now we come to the end of the summer festival season. As the air begins to cool let us take just a moment to savor a few of the golden live music moments that shook the city this past week: At Marmoset’s second Hott Summer Nights party at Rontom’s on Sunday, we featured 14 bands and 4 DJ’s throughout the day and long into the night. Some of the many highlights were Houndstooth, 1939 Ensemble, Sean Flinn and the Royal We, Kelli Schaefer, Lost Lander and Pure Bathing Culture. The music was awesome, the beer was cheap and plentiful, and the bands were happy.
