MusicFest NW!

Summer means a few different things in Portland. First off, there are the sunny days that we’ve worked so hard for that set the scenery for bike rides, Forest Park hikes, Picnics, and everything else your vitamin-D deficient heart could want. But come September, summer gets finished the proper way: with five days of the multi-venue MusicFest NW!
September 7th-11th, MusicFest NW fills some of Portland’s most loved venues (such as the Crystal Ballroom, Doug Fir, Wonder Ballroom, and Mississippi Studios) with a hefty list of bands. While there are some heavy hitters at the Levi’s outdoor stage at Pioneer Courthouse Square (such as Band of Horses, Iron and Wine, and Explosions in the Sky), it’s the lesser known acts that make MusicFest so special. It’s no news that Portland harbors some talent. Some local favorites that are playing at MusicFest are Sallie Ford and the Sound Outside, Black Prairie, Blitzen Trapper and Blind Pilot. Marmoset Music also has some featured artists playing as well! Kelli Schaefer, The Ravishers, and the Dimes will all be capturing hearts across town.

On Sunday, September 11th the guys and gals at Marmoset Music are throwing a party at Rontoms all day and all night. That means that you can come by for a couple of drinks, talk music, and maybe even show us a few dance moves! How cool is that?

Be sure to check out MFNW’s lineup HERE and get yourself a wristband so that you can see all the shows your heart desires!
