How do you capture a moment of inspiration? How can you tell a story without speaking? The new spot from Glasses.com explores this idea, and nails it.
We recently collaborated with the talented director Sean Pecknold and the fine folks at The Academy on this journey of youth, innovation and exploration. This tale follows the calming + ethereal trajectory of two friends (and a llama) finding their unique paths in the world, collected in a series of moments.
We scored the film with an adaptation of “Shaw Island,” to flow along the timeless innocence of this piece, to show the emotional story rather than telling it. The lush arrangement of piano + strings pluck and sway in great fluidity, letting each scene breathe and inspire the viewer. Enjoy and let us know what you think.
