Standing with Marmoset’s LA Community: Support and Resources for Wildfire Recovery

Dear Marmoset Community,

The ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles have caused unimaginable devastation. The Palisades and Eaton Fires, which began on January 7, 2025, have burned through more than 37,000 acres, resulting in tragic loss of life, widespread evacuations, and the destruction of homes and cherished belongings. Our hearts are with our artists, clients, and the greater community in the LA area who are grappling with profound loss.

At Marmoset, we’re proud to be a small part of the unique creative ecosystem in LA. To support those impacted, we’ve donated $3,000 to MusiCares, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping music professionals in times of crisis.

MusiCares is stepping up to provide immediate relief to members of the music community affected by the fires. Their efforts include $1,500 in financial assistance, $500 grocery cards, and resources for medical needs, replacing damaged music equipment, and navigating long-term relocation challenges.

Our donation is a small step toward helping those affected rebuild their lives and creative pursuits during this incredibly challenging time.

In addition, we’ve compiled a list of resources available to the entertainment community impacted by the fires. We hope these can provide some tangible support as the community begins to heal.
