Marmoset presents miniature music concerts — a new series where we invite talented, touring and local artists into our space to capture a stripped down performance of their music.
As the holidays approach and our ears ring with ten different remixes of “Jingle Bells” and “Silent Night,” we’re assured there’s enough holiday cheer to last for days. As the festive spirit washes over the Marmoset Team, we knew we had to do something special for December’s beloved miniature concert series.
Adorning a glistening ivory power suit, pop artist Frankie Simone steps onto a makeshift wonderland stage, a backdrop crafted here at Marmoset HQ. As the baby grand piano plays, Simone delivers a sultry version of “The Christmas Song.” Nailing the serene mysticism of the carol, we’re swept away by Simone’s cooing vocals — it’s like we’re cozily posted up in front of a crackling fireplace with hot cocoa in hand.
We hope similar dazzling thoughts come to mind for you too, dear reader. Take a listen and get swept away into your own personal winter bliss. Happy Holidays!
